Undersecretary of Islamic Affairs at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowment, Dr Fareed bin Yacoub Al Muftah received recently the Member of the Sharia Board of the Arcapita Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Jama  for the occasion of choosing the bank as a diamond sponsor of the International Reciter Competition that will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Al Muftah highlighted that the competition is special because it is supported by HM the King and it is an international event as it reaches all areas with internet services to promote all age groups to recite Quran. He added that the competition contributes in highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in caring for Quran internationally and reinforce e-government initiatives. He hailed the diamond sponsorship of Arcapita of the event.

The meeting was attended by Director of Quran Affairs at the Ministry, Shaikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Qahtan Al Omari, in which the event discussed topics related to partnership and integration between the public and private sectors.

Al Jama expressed his happiness to support the event that is under the patronage of HM the King for its great goals of encouraging youth to follow Quran values. He said that the sponsoring is part of the social responsibility of Arcapita towards the Kingdom’s organizations.  He hailed the efforts of the organizers of the events and wish them all the best.
